Bacter Boost provides a growth medium for subcultures. These subcultures will provide a food supply for the larger macro cultures (fish, coral, etc.), and the subculture will also provide beneficial gases such as O2 and CO2 proportionally. When Bacter Boost is added to a new aquarium, 48 hours is generally the amount of time it takes to provide the necessary metabolic environment for the larger species. When adding Bacter Boost to an established aquarium, it will fill in the missing blanks of the food chain through a process of water ion transfer. Filling in the blanks equates to an improved healthier environment.
