The Coralife Turbo Twist 12X UltraViolet Sterilizer, 36W, features a unique twist flow design that guides water flow more evenly through the sterilizer, increasing exposure to ultraviolet light and improving the treatment of unwanted algae and harmful micro-organisms.
Coralife Turbo Twist 12X Features:
- Requires a powerhead that will provide an approx. 400 to 1200 gph flow rate. The Rio 14HF HyperFlow Powerhead is a good choice.
- Can be used with 3/4", 1" or 1-1/4" hose. Hose is not included. The amount of hose depends on how you set up your Turbo Twist—about 6 feet of hose is what most people use.
- For aquariums up to 500 gallons
- Easy set up and installation
- Mounting brackets included for hang on or in-line applications
- Can be used with freshwater and saltwater aquariums
