 We carry a variety of aquarium LED-only lights (many of our other lights combine T5, compact fluorescent and metal halide bulbs with LEDs in a single fixture). None of the LED-only lights we carry can support live plants or corals by themselves. These LED lights are intended to either light a fish-only tank, or to provide night lighting (simulating moon light) for an aquarium. LEDs are more energy efficient than other types of lighting and they do not need to be replaced annually like aquarium light bulbs.
- The Marineland LED Double Bright Lighting Systems have a combination of blue and white LEDs and provide a very cost effective and energy efficient way to light a fish only tank. They could also be used to add night lighting to a reef or planted tank.
- The Current USA PowerBrite LEDs are 12" lighting strips with four LEDs that can be daisy chained together. The PowerBrites can either be connected to the underside of a canopy or laid directly on the glass aquarium cover.
- The Current USA Lunar Light LEDs are made for retrofitting existing aquarium lighting canopies. These lights daisy chain together and only require a single plug even when using multiple LEDs.
- The Blue Moon Glow lights from Coralife are an add on to Coralife Aqualights
- R2 Solution's LED strip lights are stand alone lights that can placed directly on top of the tank
